Armin began his career as a commercial diver in 1997, progressing to saturation diver and supervisor before transitioning into large-scale tunneling projects. His work spans international projects including deep tunnel interventions in Barcelona, Hong Kong, and currently the Great Lakes Tunnel Project.
In his talk, Sat diving in advanced tunnel intervention, Armin will explore the unique demands of applying saturation diving techniques to civil engineering. He will share practical insights on the integration of deep diving operations, up to 200 meters seawater, into complex tunnel construction.
