11 Jul Winners of free hyperbaric testing in our new ultra-deep hyperbaric chambers
In relation to establishing the new NUI Ultra-Deep Test Centre that will be operational from August 2020, NUI and GCE Ocean Technology, through Owe Hagesæther, held a competition earlier this spring which offered one day of free testing in each of our new hyperbaric testing chamber.
The winners of competition were selected in end of June, and we want to use this opportunity to congratulate iDrop AS and Devlogic Norway AS as winners. NUI are already in dialogue with the winners to discuss how the test can be performed and what type of features they want to use, as a hyperbaric test is much more than just applying an extreme external pressure on the equipment. NUI are looking forward to using this opportunity as a pilot project for the new centre.
iDrop is a company developing and suppling seabed nodes for subsea and ocean space environmental mapping. The subsea drone Oceanid™ is their latest contribution to establish a more efficient and flexible way to generate good quality data of the seabed.
Devlogic Norway AS, a branch of Devlogic Subsea Systems from Germany, focus on developing and manufacturing turn-key customized data-acquisition and telemetry solutions for marine monitoring applications.
NUI are looking forward to welcoming them at our new testing facility after it is operational in start of August.
